How Balloon Pricing Actually Works
No mystery math and no surprise fees. Garlands are priced by the foot, bouquets by size, and every quote comes back itemized so you can see exactly what you are paying for and what you can drop.
Where Most Orders Land
Every job is quoted individually, because a 6-foot garland in two stock colours and a 20-foot install in custom double-stuffed shades are not the same animal. These are the shapes orders usually take. Tell us which one sounds like yours and we will put a number on it.
The bouquet order
A hand-tied helium bunch, a bubble balloon or a set of foil numbers, for pickup from one of our pickup locations or delivery to a door. Priced by size and balloon count, so a three-balloon desk gift and a twenty-balloon party bunch are quoted very differently. Delivery is added by area.
The party setup
A garland or half-arch behind the cake table, often with a number foil or a small cluster. Priced by the foot for the garland, plus any specialty pieces. Add install if you would rather we put it up, and teardown if you would rather not deal with it afterwards.
The full install
A walk-through arch, a long feature-wall garland, a ceremony or storefront piece. Priced by size and complexity, and always includes on-site install. Custom colours, greenery, florals and late teardown are quoted as separate line items so you can see what each one costs.
What Moves the Number
Pricing depends on what you build: the length and size of the piece, the number and sizes of balloons, colours, and extras like foils, numbers or florals. Here is the full list, in the order it usually matters.
- Size — garland length in feet, or an arch’s width and height. This is the biggest single factor.
- Balloon count and sizes — a dense mixed-size run uses far more material than a sparse one.
- Colours — stock shades are simplest; custom and double-stuffed colours take extra work and add a little.
- Specialty pieces — foil numbers and letters, bubble balloons, chrome and confetti finishes.
- Greenery and florals — added by the piece when you want the garland softened.
- Install and teardown — on-site setup, and the optional return trip to take it all away.
- Delivery area — Vancouver, the North Shore, Burnaby and Richmond are routine; further out is quoted per trip.
- Timing — rush jobs and awkward setup windows take more scheduling, and that shows up in the quote.

Pricing Questions
Organic garlands are generally priced by the foot, so the honest answer is that it depends on how long the piece is, which balloon sizes it uses and whether the colours are stock or custom. Send us the wall and the palette and you will have a real number, free, usually within one business day.
